Our story

Fifteen years of knowing a guy who knows a place.

Wander Atlas began in 2011 at a kitchen table, when Clara Moreno, a former hotel concierge in Lisbon and Kyoto, started planning trips for friends of friends. Today six travel designers still personally visit every hotel we recommend.

We keep our client list small on purpose: we answer the phone, remember you hate early flights, and when a ferry strike hits Capri at 7am, we are already rebooking you.

How far ahead should I start planning?

Ideally 6 to 9 months for peak season, safaris and honeymoons, as the best small hotels fill early. We have also planned beautiful trips in three weeks.

Is the design fee refundable?

The fee covers our research and is non-refundable, but it is credited in full against your journey when you book through us, so most clients pay nothing extra.

Do you book flights too?

Yes: international and domestic flights, seats and lounge access. Prefer to use your own miles? We will plan around them.

What happens if something goes wrong on the road?

You get a 24/7 WhatsApp line to our team plus local partners in every destination. Delays, lost luggage or a sudden fever, we sort it so you do not have to.
