Lena Voss
14 years tattooing across Tokyo, London and Berlin. Known for whisper-thin linework that heals crisp.
Original artwork, drawn for one body only. Five resident artists working in fine line, blackwork, neo-traditional and realism — in a private, sterile, music-loud studio.
Open since 2013. Private rooms, single-use needles, zero walk-in chaos.
We don't do flash off the wall. Every piece starts as a conversation and ends as original art that only you will ever wear.
Black Ink was founded by Lena Voss after a decade tattooing in Tokyo and London. The rule since day one: take the time to get it right, from first sketch to final heal.
All artists are licensed by the Berlin health authority. We use vegan inks, medical-grade sterilization and single-use everything.
Every quote is custom. These are honest starting points.
Delicate single-needle botanicals, script and micro-realism.
Bold geometry, ornamental and solid black pieces built to last.
Thick lines, saturated color, illustrative character work.
Black & grey portraits and photo-real compositions.

From people who now wear our work.
"Lena turned a messy idea into the most elegant piece. Healed perfectly. Worth every week on the waitlist."
"Three sessions with Jonas for a full blackwork sleeve. Calm, precise, honest about healing. Cleanest studio I've been in."
"First tattoo, very nervous. They walked me through everything and the realism portrait of my dog is unreal."
Free, 20 minutes, in studio or video. No pressure.
Healing is half the tattoo. Follow this and it stays sharp for decades.
We use a breathable second-skin film. Keep it on 3–5 days, then peel it off gently in a warm shower.
Twice a day with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel — never rub.
A thin layer of unscented healing balm 2–3 times a day for two weeks. Less is more: it should not look shiny.
No pools, sea, sauna or baths for 3 weeks. Showers are fine. Avoid direct sun and use SPF 50 once healed.
Totally normal around days 5–10. Don't scratch or pick; tap it lightly and keep it moisturized.
Yes — one free touch-up within 3 months if needed, as long as aftercare was followed.
