Pasta made by hand, shared by the table.
Three generations of the Moretti family cooking the recipes of Emilia-Romagna — slow ragù, fresh tagliatelle and wood-fired pizza, served every evening under the old brick arches.
A little corner of Bologna on Hanover Street.
When Nonna Lucia opened Bella Tavola with eight tables and one copper pot, the idea was simple: cook the way we cook at home, and make every guest feel like family by dessert.
Today her grandson Marco leads the kitchen. The pasta is still rolled every morning, the tomatoes still come from the same farm in Concord, and Sunday lunch is still the loudest meal of the week.
"The kind of place where the chef comes out to ask if you want more bread — and you always do."Boston Food Weekly
