Our Story

“We wanted a flower shop that feels like walking through a neighbour’s garden — a little wild, never stiff.”

Petal & Stem began in 2017 as a Saturday stall at the Division Street market, with a bucket of dahlias from Ines’s backyard. Today we work out of a sunny corner shop with a cooler full of stems from eleven Oregon flower farms and our own half-acre cutting garden in Boring, OR.

What is the cut-off for same-day delivery?

Order by 2:00 pm Monday to Saturday (12:00 pm on Sundays) for delivery the same day within our Portland zones. Later orders go out first thing the next morning.

How much is delivery?

$12 within 5 miles of the shop and $18 up to 12 miles. Delivery is free on orders over $75 and on every subscription.

Will my bouquet look like the photo?

The colours, size and style will match. Exact stems change with what is freshest that morning, which is why our flowers last longer.

What if nobody is home?

Our courier calls the recipient, then leaves the flowers in a safe shaded spot or with a neighbour and texts you a photo.
