The story

Half DJ booth, half band

NOVA SOUND started when Kai Navarro, a resident DJ in Wynwood, started inviting his friend Theo to play sax over his house sets. Crowds went wild, a bride asked if they did weddings, and the rest of the crew followed.

Today we are a tight team of four who switch between turntables and live instruments in the same night. No cheesy games, no dead air, just a party your guests will talk about on Monday.

How far ahead should we book?

Wedding Saturdays from November to April fill 9 to 12 months out. Club and corporate dates can often be booked with a few weeks' notice. Use the form to check your date instantly.

Can we choose the music?

Absolutely. You get an online planner for must-plays, do-not-plays and special moments. We take requests from guests too, as long as they fit your vibe.

Do you travel outside Miami?

Yes. Travel within 40 miles is included. We play across Florida and the Caribbean regularly; destination events are quoted with travel at cost.

How does payment work?

A 30% deposit secures your date, and the balance is due 14 days before the event. We accept card, bank transfer and Zelle.

What if the DJ gets sick?

Every booking has a named backup from our crew. In twelve years we have never missed a show.
